Find out everything you need to know about checking in for a flydubai flight, including when to arrive at the airport and what documents you’ll need.
You can pick up your boarding pass from the flydubai hand baggage or check-in desk, then head straight to your departure gate via security and immigration. If you're traveling from Dubai to the GCC please use our new express check-in facility at the front of the terminal.
You need to be at check-in at least 60 minutes before take-off. If you arrive any later than this, you won’t be able to travel.
You can check in your baggage at the flydubai check-in desk up to 3 hours before take-off, but no later than 60 minutes before take-off.
If you’ve already bought a 20 kg, 30 kg or 40 kg baggage allowance in advance, you just have to put your bags on the scales and pick up your boarding pass.
If you haven’t bought your baggage allowance in advance, you can pay to check in your baggage at the airport rate, provided there’s enough space on the flight.
You can pre-buy a baggage allowance at a discount up to 4 hours before your flight using manage booking, or through one of our call centres or through one of our travel partners.
If you’re not sure what travel documents you need, you can find out by contacting the embassy or consulate of the country you’re flying to.
We can help you get a UAE visa. To find out more, see UAE visas.
We’re sorry, but children under 12 are only allowed to fly if they’re accompanied by a parent or a guardian who is at least 16 years of age on the same booking.
Yes, but if you're more than 27 weeks pregnant, you’ll need a medical certificate to be able to fly. You won’t be able to fly if you’re over 35 weeks pregnant. If you're expecting a multiple birth such as twins or triplets, you won't be able to fly after your 32nd week.
