Dubai-based flydubai announced today that it will commence new passenger services from Al Maktoum International at Dubai World Central (DWC) with effect from 25 October 2015, the commencement of its winter schedule, as it continues its operations from Dubai International (DXB).

Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Dubai-based flydubai has announced the addition of Eritrea to its African network. Direct flights between Dubai and the capital city of Asmara will commence on 25 October 2015 with 4 flights a week. The flights will mark the start of the first direct link between Eritrea and the UAE. Asmara is the second African destination added to the flydubai network this year after Hargeisa, which began in June.

Dubai-based carrier flydubai announced today direct daily flights to Faisalabad, the 3rd largest city in Pakistan, together with an increase in the frequency of the airline’s flights to Pakistan, doubling the size of its network in the country.

Dubai-based flydubai’s inaugural flight to Quetta landed today and was greeted by a traditional water cannon salute. The flight marks the start of a direct air link between Dubai and flydubai’s fourth destination in Pakistan. Receiving the aircraft was the Governor of Balochistan, H.E. Mohammad Khan Achakzi along with senior Airport and Government officials.

Dubai, UAE: Dubai-based flydubai’s inaugural flight to Hargeisa landed today at Hargeisa Egal International Airport marking the launch of a direct four times weekly service to Hargeisa.

flydubai continues to expand its Saudi network, reaching out to two previously underserved points in the Kingdom. The Dubai-based airline will operate direct flights to Gizan and Jouf in July 2015. flydubai operations to Gizan will commence on 10 July with daily flights. Jouf will follow on 11 July with four flights a week.
