Thank you for visiting flydubai's website www.flydubai.com (the 'website'). This website is owned and managed by Dubai Aviation Corporation (trading as and hereinafter referred to as "flydubai").

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before you start to use the website. Your use of the website and our Company Information is subject to these terms and conditions, and by using our website, you (unconditionally and irrevocably) accept these terms and conditions. flydubai reserves the right to change these terms and conditions without notice.

The website is owned and operated by flydubai, whose principal office is at Dubai International Airport, Terminal 2, PO Box 353, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. flydubai is a Dubai corporation formed by the government of Dubai in July 2008.

You represent and warrant that you possess the legal right and ability to enter into this agreement and to use this website in accordance with all terms and conditions herein.

You promise flydubai that you are old enough to enter legally binding contracts through this website and you know that you will be responsible for all payments due to us for bookings made by you or another person using your login information.

2. Ownership of Company Information

Information concerning flydubai and its services, including flight schedules, routes, fares, text, graphics, button icons, audio and video clips, digital downloads, data compilations (including customer information), logos and information regarding the status of our flights, etc. is referred to as "Company Information". flydubai owns all copyrights, trademarks, service marks and trade names related to the Company Information and the Company Information is proprietary to flydubai.

3. Modification of terms

We may change these terms and conditions at any time without advance notice. Changed terms will become effective once posted on the website, and will not have any retrospective effect on existing contractual arrangements made through this website. Your continued use of this website after any change means you have accepted the changed terms and conditions.

7. Limitations on use

You agree to use this website solely to determine the availability of goods and services and make legitimate reservations or transact business with us. You agree to use the website only for personal, non-commercial use.

We may cancel, without notice, all confirmations associated with multiple reservations to one or more destination on or about the same date.

You agree to all of our terms and conditions of purchase, including, but not limited to, full and timely payment of all amounts due and compliance with all rules concerning availability of fares, products, or services. All fees, assessments, charges, taxes and duties arising out of use of the website are your sole responsibility.

You agree to not abuse the website - 'abuse' includes, without limitation, using the website to:

• defame, harass, stalk, threaten, abuse or otherwise violate others' rights as defined by applicable law;

• harm or interfere with the operation of others' computers and software in any respect, including, without limitation, by uploading, downloading or transmitting corrupt files or computer viruses;

• violate applicable intellectual property, publicity or privacy rights, including, without limitation, by uploading, downloading or transmitting materials or software;

• omit or misrepresent the origin of, or rights in, any file you download or upload, including, without limitation, by omitting proprietary language, author identifications, or notices of patent, copyright or trademark;

• transmit, post, or otherwise disclose trade secrets, or other confidential or protected proprietary material or information;

• download or upload files that are unlawful to distribute through the website;

9. Website bookings

The website is currently available for flights departing from flydubai's destinations as listed in the timetable.

You can book on the website for up to 9 passengers per booking. You may simultaneously book flights for 9 adults and children (2-11 years old). A child over two years occupying a seat pays the regular fare. Additionally, one infant (14 days to 1 year old) can be booked per adult passenger. flydubai offers a discount for an infant (child over 14 days and under two years on the date of travel) sharing a parent's seat. All bookings are in economy class.

You are able to cancel your booking on the website if the booking was originally made online or through flydubai's call centre. Bookings made via a travel agent can be viewed online under the modify your booking section, but cannot be modified online. You will be subject to the fare rules that you agreed to when you confirmed the booking. Depending on flydubai's schedules, you may book flights 6 to 9 months before departure.

The flydubai fare includes all taxes and a 7 kg hand baggage allowance.

Payment options

Once you have booked online or through the call centre, you can pay using your Visa or MasterCard for a small payment fee. We accept credit cards issued in selected countries as specified during the booking process. Your credit card will be debited when you click on the 'Next' button after you choose your form of payment as 'credit card'. If you do not have a credit card, you may choose to pay later or use your flydubai voucher.

The credit card used to purchase the booking online will be required for verification at check-in time.

If you want to pay using cash, flydubai will hold your reservation for up to 24 hours so that you can make your payment through one of flydubai's payment partners. If you book less than 48 hours prior to departure, payment must be made immediately.

Payment partners

If you choose to pay later, you may return to the website or visit one of our payment partners within the time specified during the booking process, failing which your booking will be automatically cancelled.

Security of information

We will take all reasonable measures to ensure information you transmit to us using the website will remain confidential and protected from unauthorised access. Despite those measures, we do not warrant unauthorised access to that information can never happen. We will not be liable for any such unauthorised access unless caused solely by our gross negligence, in which event you will be entitled to compensation up to a maximum of the value of the services purchased by you.

To ensure secure online payment and all other transactions of personal data, the website uses a technology called Secure Socket Layer (SSL). SSL encrypts all communications between your computer and our server so that the information can only be read and understood by us. A closed lock on the browser window indicates a secure connection. For further information, please consult your browser's security specifications. If your browser is equipped with SSL your transaction will automatically be secured.

10. Passports

Please ensure you have a passport valid for the duration of your trip. Some destinations require your passport be valid for a certain length of time; in general, 6 months after completion of travel. You may also be required to obtain a visa for some destinations and it is your responsibility to do so.

For information on passport or visa requirements, you should contact the embassy, high commission or consulate of the country to which you will be travelling.

On arrival at the departure gate, your passport, visa (if required) and boarding pass will be checked to ensure that you have the valid documents for the flight and acceptance in the destination country. It is your responsibility to ensure your documents are correct. If your documents are incorrect, flydubai will not allow you to travel and no refund or alternative flight will be offered.

11. Airport taxes

Some airports will levy an airport departure tax, which is payable by passengers at the airport locally. Information on these charges is not given through our quoted fares.

12. Health/insurance requirements

Immunisation may be recommended or required for your destination - please check this with your doctor. We also recommend purchase of adequate travel insurance for all overseas travel.

13. Conditions of carriage

The carriage of passengers and their baggage by air will be subject to the conditions of carriage of the carrier concerned. With respect to our flights, please read our general conditions of carriage for passengers and baggage.
