Your journey from Dar es Salaam to Dubai

You’ll begin your journey to the UAE at Julius Nyerere International Airport (DAR). The airport is just 12 kilometres from the city and it should only take you about 15 minutes to get there. You can arrange a private transfer or catch a taxi to the airport. There are also buses available that can take you between the airport and the city centre.

Check-in online between 48 hours and 90 minutes before you’re due to fly to save time at the airport. Alternatively, head to one of our check-in desks on arrival and a member of our team will be happy to welcome you.

Once you’re checked in, drop your bags and head through to the departure lounge. Here you can enjoy restaurants, cafes and duty free shops before you board your flight.

If you’re on an indirect flight, you’ll touch down at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ) in Zanzibar. Take the time to relax at the airport before catching your connecting flight.

You’ll touch down at Dubai International Airport (DXB). From there, getting into the city is easy. Taxis are available from outside the terminal, hop on a bus to get to the centre or take the Dubai Metro from nearby Abu Hail station. Alternatively, hire a car and explore even more of this stunning destination.
