There are long- and short-stay car parks on site, providing a secure place to leave your vehicle while you’re away.
When you arrive at the airport, you can collect your boarding pass and hand over any hold luggage at our check-in desks, which open three hours before your flight departs. There’s free, unlimited WiFi at Baku Airport too, so you can pass the time watching movies or catching up on social media without worrying about your connection timing out.
Your first flight takes just three hours, soaring over the Caspian Sea, Iran and the Arabian Gulf, before landing in Dubai International Airport (DXB). The time between your transfers will vary depending on the date of your booking, but it can be as little as one hour. While you wait, you could pick up a gift from the duty-free shops or, if you’ve booked a Business Class ticket, relax in the flydubai Business Class lounge. You’ll find a delicious buffet spread on offer in this exclusive area, along with a selection of newspapers, magazines and TV screens so you can catch up with the latest headlines.
The second leg of your journey will take just over an hour, hopping over the border into the neighbouring country of Oman and quickly landing in Muscat International Airport (MCT). Once you’ve passed through customs and collected your luggage, you can hail a taxi or hire a car to reach your destination.
Gazing over the glittering gulf waters, the capital city of Muscat is a charming destination on the Arabian Peninsula. The brilliant white of the buildings contrasts beautifully against the bright blue sky, while decorative minarets reach up through the skyline and craggy mountains loom in the background. Admire the architectural grandeur of the Grand Mosque and Al Alam Palace, then stroll along the Corniche Mutrah promenade to the sandy, sun-drenched beaches. When night falls, follow the bright lights of the souq and get lost in a bustling tangle of stalls. From vibrant spices to hand-made jewellery, you’ll find the perfect souvenir in these colourful lanes.
