There are several ways to get to Batumi International Airport (BUS), where your journey to Dubai will begin. Also known as Alexander Kartveli Batumi International Airport, the hub is located just 10 minutes from downtown Batumi. Travel by taxi, bus or shuttle, or if you’d prefer to drive, parking is available onsite.
Head straight for departures when you arrive and a member of staff will be waiting to help you through check-in. To skip this step, check-in online between 48 hours and 90 minutes before your flight ahead of setting off for the airport.
Make your way through security and into departures. Once there, take advantage of the duty free shopping before getting a beverage and something to eat at one of the restaurants or cafes.
Catch a glimpse of Dubai’s futuristic skyline as you descend into Dubai International Airport (DXB). Once you’ve landed, it’s only a 15-minute journey to the city centre. Catch a taxi or bus from outside of the terminal or head to Abu Hail Station to hop aboard the Dubai Metro for easy access to the glimmering city. If you want to explore at your own pace, opt for a hire car.
