Head to Dubai International Airport to begin your journey and you’ll find flydubai at Terminal 2. It’s just a 15-minute drive, so grab a taxi or bus from the city or bring your own car – both short and long-term parking options are available. Alternatively, Dubai Metro directly links to the airport, running to Terminals 1 and 3 regularly. From there you can grab a shuttle bus or taxi to Terminal 2.
We understand the importance of a smooth check-in. You can save time by checking in online or use our airport counters and self-service kiosks at the airport. No printer? No problem. We can send you a mobile boarding pass via SMS, which can replace a paper boarding pass for your flight from Dubai to Dammam, as well as your return journey. Once you’re ready, simply drop off your bags (if you have any) before zipping through security.
You’ll find plenty to keep you occupied once you reach the departure lounge. Take advantage of duty-free shopping before grabbing a coffee and cake at Costa Café or enjoy a dose of Indian fast food at Bombay Chowpatty.
You’ll land at the King Fahd International Airport, located around 22km west of Dammam. You’ll find a taxi stand directly outside the arrivals hall or you can hop on a bus to the city centre, which takes about half an hour. Explore Dammam and beyond by hiring a car from the airport and venture to other cities including the seaside city of Khobar.
Saudi Arabia’s sixth largest city is full of adventure. Savour an indulgent meal in the great halls of a fortress or get your adrenalin pumping at the mammoth King Fahd Park. Browse the bejewelled stalls of Share Al-Hob market or fall love with Dammam’s main attraction – its sprawling Corniche. Take a stroll by the coast, admiring open-air artworks and the glittering sea, or head to Half Moon Bay for a sailing or diving extravaganza.
