Head south out of Dubai city centre to Dubai World Central Airport (DWC). You can drive yourself and use one of the parking bays available at the front of the terminal, take the bus or catch a taxi – the journey should take around 45 minutes. Alternatively, ride the Dubai Metro to the nearest station at Ibn Battuta Mall.
Use our online check-in service before you set off for the airport to help save time – it opens between 48 hours and 75 minutes prior to departure. Mobile boarding passes are available with this service, eliminating the need for a print out. Simply download it your mobile device and it’ll be scanned as you board.
You can also check-in at the airport if you’d prefer to. Make your way to one of our check-in desks and a member of our team will welcome you and check your bags. Then head through security and into the departures lounge where you can relax ahead of your flight. Browse the duty free shops, connect to the WiFi or grab a bite to eat before you’re called to your gate.
Less than five hours later, you’ll touch down at Beirut–Rafic Hariri International Airport (BEY). The roads are well connected, so it should only take around 10 minutes to reach the city centre. Head outside of the terminal and you’ll find certified taxis to take you into Beirut, which have an airport logo on the side. Or you can car hire and explore more of this beautiful country.
Perched on the Mediterranean coast, Beirut charms with its cosmopolitan flavour and rich heritage. Hit the city’s catalogue of museums and travel through time, with artefacts dating all the way back to the Bronze Age. More of a foodie fan? Beirut’s pavement cafes have long won hearts – take a seat and discover a bounty of Lebanese cooking. Enjoy a game of backgammon while feasting on succulent grilled meat, fresh bread and hummus. For a dose of nature, wander the sun-kissed Corniche that snakes along the glittering seafront. From here you can enjoy vistas of Pigeon Rocks, an iconic pair of natural arches.
