What can I buy?

You name it – Dubai Shopping Festival has got it. There are a few purchases that the event is perfect for, which include:

  • Clothes. From Chanel to Prada, you’ll be able to indulge in the ultimate retail therapy - ready to see the rest of the year in with a fresh new wardrobe.

Which shops should I visit?

Head to Dubai Shopping Festival this year and you’ll have a whole host of shopping locations to dive into.

Big-brand hunters will be in heaven at Dubai Mall; one of the largest shopping malls in the world. Mall of the Emirates, Burjman Centre, Ibn Batuta Mall and Festival City Mall are also full of international high-end brands.

If you're heading to DSF to see in the New Year, you’re in for a treat. This year brings with it '12 Hour Exclusive New Year Shopping', with whopping 90 per cent discounts on some international brands.

Discount prices aren't just reserved for malls either; you’ll find bargains at local boutiques and flea markets. Ancient souks are popular places to explore; including Spice Souk, Perfume Souk, Textile Souk and Souk Madinat. Most special is the Gold Souk, where stalls are covered in glittering gold and eye-catching gems. You can be certain everything is genuine here, since the markets are strictly regulated by the government.

What else is there to do?

Despite its title, Dubai Shopping Festival is not just about shopping - the event is a melting pot of festivities. Kids can enjoy a spectacular parade of special family shows, with more than 300 renowned musicians, jugglers, stilt walkers, acrobats, dancers and other performers providing entertainment throughout the month-long event.

Grab some fresh air after your shopping spree at Market Outside The Box, an outdoor retail hub with global brands, live performances and food trucks galore. If you’re planning on celebrating those big bargains with a night out, head to the Beauty District pop-up for a tutorial with qualified beauty buffs.

Even sports fans are catered for at the festival, with events such as ice hockey and open tennis championships to take part in. If you’re after an adventure, take your pick from dune bashing or camel rides in the enthralling Dubai desert, also organised by DSF.

Dubai Shopping Festival is located across every corner of the sprawling city and desert landscape, from the luxury malls to the old souks.
