Make the most out of summer by joining the Dubai Summer Surprises “45 Days of Summer” festival starting on 23 July until 5 September 2015. This annual celebration of arts, history, culture and heritage offers something for everyone. From live music to shopping, games and live children’s theatre events; Dubai Summer Surprises is sure to surprise.

Dubai Summer Surprises was launched in the late 1990s by the Dubai government with the idea of making Dubai an international summer tourism hotspot. The festival provides larger-than-life fun, so the mascot is well-named: he’s known as "Modhesh," which is Arabic for “amazing, unexpected and incredible.” His bright yellow costume perfectly symbolizes the bright excitement of the festival’s days and nights.
