Travel restrictions to Albania

Who can travel?

  • Open to citizens and residents of Albania
  • Open to citizens and residents of the United Arab Emirates
  • Open to all visitors subject to meeting the entry requirements
  • Passengers with a valid residence permit issued by the United Arab Emirates can obtain a visa on arrival for a maximum stay of 90 days. The maximum stay is granted within 180 days
  • Passports must be valid for a minimum of 3 months from the arrival date. Passengers without a return or onward ticket could be refused to enter Albania

COVID-19 restrictions:

  • Test required: There are no PCR requirements to travel to Albania
  • Quarantine required: Quarantine is not needed when entering Albania, but it may be required under some circumstances if requested by health authorities

  • All passengers must complete the passenger information form when arriving in Albania.
Is Albania open for Tourists?
  • Albania's land borders are now open for tourism, need to complete the Passenger Information form along with the RT-PCR report within 72 hours before departure and present a hard or soft copy upon arrival
