Travel restrictions to Azerbaijan

Who can travel?
 
Only the following categories of passengers are allowed to enter Azerbaijan
  • Citizens of the UNITED ARAB EMIRATES, Albania, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belarus, Belgium, Brazil, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Canada, Chile, China (People's Rep.), Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cuba, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Dominican Rep., Ecuador, El Salvador, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Iran, Ireland (Rep.), Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Korea (Rep.), Kuwait, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Maldives, Malta, Mexico, Moldova (Rep.), Mongolia, Montenegro, Morocco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Panama, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tajikistan, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, the United States of America, Ukraine, Uruguay, Uzbekistan or Venezuela;
  • Residents of the UNITED ARAB EMIRATES*, Albania, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bahrain**, Belarus, Belgium, Brazil, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Canada, Chile, China (People's Rep.), Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cuba, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Dominican Rep., Ecuador, El Salvador, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Iran, Ireland (Rep.), Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Korea (Rep.), Kuwait, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Maldives, Malta, Mexico, Moldova (Rep.), Mongolia, Montenegro, Morocco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Panama, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Qatar**, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tajikistan, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, the United States of America, Ukraine, Uruguay, Uzbekistan or Venezuela;
  • Spouses, children, parents, grandparents, and grandchildren of citizens of Azerbaijan.
  • They must present a proof of the relationship.
*UAE resident visa must be valid for a minimum of 4 months (approximately 123) days on arrival.

**Qatar and Bahrain resident visa must be valid for a minimum of 95 days on arrival.

Azerbaijan Covid Travel Restrictions
 
Documents needed for travelling
  • All passengers must have a printed copy of a negative COVID-19 PCR test result from a test taken at most 72 hours before departure of the last direct flight to Azerbaijan.
  • This does not apply to:
    • passengers younger than 1 year.
  • Passengers must also have one of the following documents with a QR code:
    • a printed copy of COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated; or
    • a printed copy of COVID-19 recovery certificate.
  • This does not apply:
    • to citizens of Azerbaijan and
    • passengers younger than 18 years.
