Open to all visitors subject to meeting the entry requirements (visa on arrival is suspended until further notice)
Effective from 05 July 2021, passengers travelling from or who have been in Botswana, India, Mongolia, Namibia, Nepal, Panama, South Africa or Tunisia in the last 15 days are not permitted to enter Bangladesh. This does not apply to citizens of Bangladesh returning to Bangladesh. They must hold an approval to return from the Embassy or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh in the country of departure
Test required: All passengers travelling on this flight to Bangladesh need to present a printed copy of a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test result certificate from a test taken no more than 72 hours prior to the departure of the first flight of their itinerary. Children below the age of 10 years are exempt from this requirement
Quarantine required: Passengers travelling from Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Georgia, Kuwait, Malaysia, the Maldives, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom or Uruguay could be subject to a 14-days home or institutional quarantine at a government-nominated hotel at their own expense as per the following:
Passengers who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (2 doses) holding a vaccination certificate will be required to undergo home quarantine for 14 days on arrival
Passengers who have not been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 will be required to undergo a mandatory 14-day institutional quarantine at a government-nominated facility or hotel at their own expense. Booking confirmation must be presented at the time of check-in
Passengers arriving from any other country will be subject to a 14-day home quarantine providing they do not break their journey in any country listed above. However, if any COVID-19 symptoms are detected/observed on arrival, passengers will be sent to a government-authorised hospital for further check-up or, depending on the nature/intensity of the symptoms, will be sent to isolation at government-nominated facility or a hotel at their own expense.
Passengers from Botswana, India, Mongolia, Namibia, Nepal, Panama, South Africa or Tunisia meeting the travel requirements will be subject to a 14-day institutional quarantine at a government-nominated hotel at their own expense. A hotel booking confirmation must be presented at the time of check-in
Additional documents required: All passengers must complete and present a printed copy of the Health declaration form upon arrival to Bangladesh
All travelers are required to wear face masks at the airport and during flights
All travelers must complete the passenger information form when arriving in Bangladesh
All travelers and airline crew members will undergo a medical examination and those showing symptoms will have tests performed
A medical screening is a must for all passengers traveling to Bangladesh
Passengers are subject to quarantine for up to 14 days
Is Bangladesh open for Tourists?
All flights from India are suspended, except for humanitarian & medevac flights
Visa on arrival facilities is suspended
Tourists from other countries will be allowed if they meet the entry guidelines
Hotels, restaurants, shops, and other such amenities remain open with restrictions
