  • Open to citizens and residents of Bangladesh
  • Open to all visitors subject to meeting the entry requirements
    • Note: visa on arrival is suspended until further notice

Bangladesh Covid Travel Restrictions:

Documents needed for travelling

  • All passengers travelling to Bangladesh need to present a printed copy of a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test result certificate from a test taken no more than 72 hours prior to the departure of the first flight of their itinerary.
  • This doesn’t apply to:
    • children under 12 years old;
    • passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing they are fully vaccinated with AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Covaxin, Covishield, Covovax, Janssen, Moderna (Spikevax), Nuvaxovid (Novavax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinopharm and Sinovac.
  • Until 24 April 2022, passengers must complete a "Health Declaration Form" and present it before departure. The form can be found at https://old.dghs.gov.bd/images/docs/Notice/Notice_5_5_2021_HDF_c.pdf.
  • Effective from 25 April 2022, passengers entering or transiting through Bangladesh must complete a “Health declaration form” at most 3 days before departure at https://healthdeclaration.dghs.gov.bd/.
  • This will generate a QR code which must be presented before boarding and upon arrival.

Visa on arrival

Suspension of visa on arrival facilities.

  • This does not apply to:
    • passengers of Bangladeshi origin, their spouses and children;
    • passengers with a diplomatic or official passport;
    • passengers travelling on business.
