Travel restrictions to Belarus

Who can travel?

  • Open to nationals and residents of Belarus
  • Open to citizens and residents of the United Arab Emirates.
  • All visitors subject to meeting the entry requirements
  • Travelers with a diplomatic or service passport

COVID-19 restrictions:

  • Test required: All Passengers must present a printed copy of a negative COVID-19 PCR test result. The test must be taken at most 3 days before arrival. The test certificate must be in Belarusian, English or Russian and it must be printed and accompanied by a printed certified translation. This does not apply to:
    • Nationals and residents of Belarus
    • Passengers with a diplomatic or service passport
    • Passengers who are younger than 6 years
    • Citizens of the Russian Federation traveling in transit by land or air within 24 hours through the territory of the Republic of Belarus to the Russian Federation
  • Quarantine required: 10-day self-isolation is mandatory only for persons arriving from the countries included in the List of the Ministry of Health, regardless of whether they show symptoms. Nationals who plan to transit Belarus within 24 hours and provide evidence they will exit within this time frame will not need to self-isolate or provide a negative coronavirus test certificate.
  • Additional Documents Required: Additionally, all passengers must complete the health declaration form prior to arrival.

  • All travelers must complete the passenger information form when arriving in Belarus
  • All travelers and airline crew members will undergo a medical examination and those showing symptoms will have tests performed
Is Belarus open for Tourists?
  • It is partially opened for Tourism based on specific entry guidelines
  • Restaurants, cafes, and shops are also open
  • Hotels remain open with no restrictions in place
  • There are no local travel restrictions in place in Belarus
