Travel restrictions to Pakistan

Who can travel?

  • Open to citizens and residents of Pakistan
  • Open to citizens and residents * of the United Arab Emirates
  • Open to all visitors subject to meeting the entry requirements

Pakistan Covid Travel Restrictions

Documents needed for travelling
  • Passengers must have a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated.
  • This does not apply to:
    • until 30 April 2022, passengers younger than 18 years;
    • effective from 01 May 2022, passengers younger than 12 years
    • passengers who departed Pakistan before 01 October 2021
    • passengers with a medical certificate specifying that the passenger cannot be vaccinated due to medical reasons.
  • Passengers must have an original valid certificate with a negative COVID-19 PCR test result issued no more than 72 hours before departure. The test result must be in Arabic or English.
  • This does not apply to:
    • passengers fully vaccinated against COVID-19
    • passengers younger than 12 years.
  • Passengers must download the Pass Track App before boarding and submit their personal details or submit their details at https://passtrack.nitb.gov.pk/ and have a printed confirmation.
  • This does not apply to:
    • passengers younger than 12 years;
    • passengers with disabilities.
PCR test required to travel to Pakistan
  • Passengers could be subject to a COVID-19 rapid antigen test upon arrival.
  • This does not apply to:
    • passengers with a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken at most 48 hours before departure of the first flight of their itinerary
    • passengers younger than 12 years.
Quarantine Requirements
  • Passengers and airline crew could be subject to quarantine for up to 10 days.

  • If you have a connecting flight from Dubai (DXB) with another airline, please check the entry requirements of the destination you are travelling to on the onward carrier's website.
