South Sudan Covid Travel Restrictions
 
PCR test required to travel to South Sudan
  • Please note that all passengers must present a printed copy of a negative COVID-19 test result issued in English.
  • The test must be taken no more than 72 hours prior to arrival.
Quarantine Requirements
  • Citizens of South Sudan and foreign nationals of South Sudan origin are subject to 14-day home quarantine if they are unable to obtain a PCR certificate.
Visa on arrival for South Sudan
  • Visa on arrival is currently suspended for passengers with a normal passport. This does not apply to citizens of Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.
  • Passengers must obtain a pre-arranged visa from either the South Sudan Embassy/Consular in the country of departure or apply for an e-visa from https://www.onlinevisa.com/south-sudan-visa/. Passengers who hold a special approval letter for visa on arrival will need to obtain OKTB from Juba station prior to departure.
Additional documents needed for travelling
  • Members of UN travelling on this flight are required to present a clearance obtained from the National Task Force of South Sudan.
