With flydubai, you can take one piece or item of hand baggage
weighing up to 7 kg (plus a small laptop bag or handbag) on board
without charge. For a little extra, you can buy a 20 kg checked
baggage allowance. If you want to take more, subject to
availability, you can pre-purchase either a 30 kg or a 40 kg
checked baggage allowance.
Pre-purchased checked baggage
You can pre-purchase a 20 kg checked baggage allowance. Subject
to availability, a 30 kg or a 40 kg checked baggage allowance can
be pre-purchased.
You can check-in up to three pieces, but the combined weight of
all pieces must not exceed your pre-purchased checked baggage
allowance. No single piece should be larger than 75 cm x 55 cm x 35
cm or weigh more than 32 kg. Subject to availability, additional
weight or pieces will be charged at the applicable per kilo
rate.
Your checked baggage allowance can be pre-purchased at a
discount via the website or through the call centre up to 4 hours
before departure. So don't forget, it pays to pre-pay.
At the airport, you just need to have your documents checked and
your bags weighed and measured, pick-up your baggage receipt and
make your way to the departure gate.
Airport baggage rates
Subject to availability, at the airport, you can purchase
checked baggage at the applicable per kilo rate.
Airport baggage rates will apply if:
- you exceed your pre-purchased baggage allowance
- you haven't pre-purchased a baggage allowance
- you have more than three pieces of baggage to check-in (even if
the total weight of the pieces is less than your pre-purchased
baggage allowance)
