Please check the information below if you are flying to or from Jeddah, Madinah, Yanbu or Taif.

Travel to Jeddah for Umrah (General flights)

  • All Umrah passengers will arrive and depart from Haj terminal excluding GCC nationals and GCC residents.
  • You can bring 5 litres of Zam-Zam free of charge on your return.

It's your responsibility to obtain the correct visa to enable you to travel on these flights. If you arrive at the airport and don't have the correct documentation you'll not be able to travel and there will be no refund offered.

Travel to Jeddah for Umrah (Extra flights)

You can travel on our extra flights (FZ 7000 to 7999) to Jeddah if:

  • you're holding a valid Umrah visa or
  • you're a GCC national (excluding Saudi nationals).

These flights arrive into the Hajj Terminal and depart from the Hajj Terminal in Jeddah.

You can bring 5 litres of Zam-Zam free of charge on your return.

You cannot travel on our extra flights (FZ 7000 to 7999) to Jeddah if:

  • you don't have an Umrah visa or
  • you're a Saudi national or
  • you are a non GCC national holding a Saudi residence permit, new employment visa, business visa or a visit visa. 

You can travel on our other scheduled flights to and from Jeddah. These scheduled flights will arrive into the North Terminal and depart from the North Terminal in Jeddah.

It's your responsibility to obtain the correct visa to enable you to travel on these flights. If you arrive at the airport and don't have the correct documentation you'll not be able to travel and there will be no refund offered.

Travel to Madinah for Umrah

  • If you're a Muslim , you can travel to Medina during this period on an Umrah, business or visit visa.
  • If you're a GCC National , you can travel to Medina during this period on an Umrah visa.
  • If you're not a Muslim , you cannot travel to Medina during this period on a business or visit visa.
  • If you're a KSA resident and you’re returning home You don't have to travel on an Umrah visa.
  • You can bring 05 litres of Zam-Zam free of charge on your return

Travel to Yanbu for Umrah

  • If you’re holding a valid Umrah visa, you can also travel to and from Yanbu.
  • Non GCC Nationals: If you're a female traveler below the age of 50 years, you must be accompanied by a Mahram. If you're a female traveler above the age of 50 years, you may travel without a Mahram if you're with an organized group. The group name must be endorsed on your visa.
  • You can bring 5 litres of Zam-Zam free of charge on your return from Umrah visit.

Travel to Taif for Umrah

  • If you're a GCC national, you can also travel to Taif.
  • Non-GCC nationals holding an Umrah visa cannot arrive in Taif, but you can travel to and from Jeddah or Yanbu.
  • You can bring 5 litres of Zam-Zam free of charge on your return from Umrah visit.

It's your responsibility to obtain the correct visa to enable you to travel on these flights. If you arrive at the airport and don't have the correct documentation you'll not be able to travel and there will be no refund offered. 

Flights to Aden

flydubai flights to Aden have been temporarily suspended until further notice due to the current situation in Aden.

Passengers who have purchased tickets for travel to Aden will be offered a refund and are advised to contact their Travel Agent or the flydubai Contact Centre on (00971) 600 54 44 45.

Flights to Erbil and Sulaimaniyah

flydubai flights to Erbil and Sulaimaniyah have been temporarily suspended due to expanded military activity in the north of the country. The safety and security of our passengers and crew is our priority and we will continue to monitor the situation.

Passengers who have purchased tickets for travel to Erbil or Sulaimaniyah will be offered a refund and are advised to contact their Travel Agent or the flydubai Contact Centre on (00971) 600 54 44 45.
