flydubai flights operating to & from Baghdad

Following the guidance issued by the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority flydubai has suspended its service to Baghdad until Monday 02 February 2015.

We will continue to work closely with the authorities.

Passengers who have purchased tickets for travel to Baghdad with flydubai can re-book to another point in Iraq or will be offered a refund. Please call our Contact Centre on: 00971 600 544 445.

Important notice for flights operating to & from Saudi Arabia

Please check the information below if you are flying to or from Jeddah, Madinah, Yanbu or Taif.

Travel to Jeddah for Umrah (General flights)

  • All Umrah passengers will arrive and depart from Haj terminal excluding GCC nationals and GCC residents.
  • You can bring 5 litres of Zam-Zam free of charge on your return.

It's your responsibility to obtain the correct visa to enable you to travel on these flights. If you arrive at the airport and don't have the correct documentation you'll not be able to travel and there will be no refund offered.

Travel to Jeddah for Umrah (Extra flights)

  • If you're holding a valid Umrah visa or if you're a GCC national (excluding Saudi nationals), you can travel on our extra flights (FZ 7000 to 7999) to and from Jeddah. These flights arrive into the Hajj Terminal and depart from the Hajj Terminal in Jeddah.
  • If you don't have an Umrah visa or if you're a Saudi national or a non GCC national holding a Saudi residence permit, new employment visa, business visa or a visit visa you will not be allowed on these extra (FZ7000 to FZ7999) flights. You can travel on our other scheduled flights to and from Jeddah. These scheduled flights will arrive into the North Terminal and depart from the North Terminal in Jeddah.
  • You can bring 5 litres of Zam-Zam free of charge on your return.

It's your responsibility to obtain the correct visa to enable you to travel on these flights. If you arrive at the airport and don't have the correct documentation you'll not be able to travel and there will be no refund offered.

Travel to Madinah for Umrah

  • If you're a Muslim , you can only travel to Medina during this period on an Umrah visa. You can't travel on a business or visit visa.
  • If you're a GCC National , you can travel to Medina during this period on an Umrah visa.
  • If you're not a Muslim , you cannot travel to Medina during this period on a business or visit visa.
  • If you're a KSA resident and you’re returning home You don't have to travel on an Umrah visa.
  • You can bring 05 litres of Zam-Zam free of charge on your return

Travel to Yanbu for Umrah

  • If you’re holding a valid Umrah visa, you can also travel to and from Yanbu.
  • Non GCC Nationals: If you're a female traveler below the age of 50 years, you must be accompanied by a Mahram. If you're a female traveler above the age of 50 years, you may travel without a Mahram if you're with an organized group. The group name must be endorsed on your visa.
  • You can bring 5 litres of Zam-Zam free of charge on your return from Umrah visit.

Travel to Taif for Umrah

  • If you're a GCC national, you can also travel to Taif.
  • Non-GCC nationals holding an Umrah visa cannot arrive in Taif, but you can travel to and from Jeddah or Yanbu.
  • You can bring 5 litres of Zam-Zam free of charge on your return from Umrah visit.

flydubai’s operations move to Terminal 1 of Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku

From 15 December 2014 all flydubai flights to and from Baku will now arrive into and depart from Terminal 1 at Heydar Aliyev International Airport and not Terminal 2.

All flydubai flights operating to & from Dubai International (DXB)

Following the completion of a scheduled programme of runway maintenance and repair, all flydubai flights are again operating to and from Terminal 2 at Dubai International (DXB).

flydubai’s operations move to Hamad International Airport Terminal 1 in Doha

From 30 April 2014 flydubai will operate its flights into and out of the newly opened Hamad International Airport Terminal 1 and not Doha International Airport Terminal B.
