Maximum size and weight

Acceptance conditions

• All sports equipment will be accepted as part of your checked baggage allowance, subject to flydubai’s checked baggage rules. If your overall baggage weight, including the sporting equipment, exceeds the allowance included in your booking, excess baggage rates will apply.
  
  
• Passengers with onward connections on any other airline need to confirm the acceptance of sporting equipment with each airline individually and provide confirmation to flydubai.
  
  
• Local airport restrictions may apply at some airports where permitted dimensions may differ. It’s the passenger's responsibility to check this information with the respective airport authorities before departure.
  
  

Packing requirements

• All sporting equipment must be packed appropriately to avoid damage and must meet the dimension and weight restrictions of their allowance. Please read and follow our packaging guide.
  
  
• Please ensure you do not pack items such as batteries, chemicals, flammable liquids or solids, or any other type of dangerous goods in your baggage. For more information, see the baggage and lithium battery guide.

We will work to keep your equipment safe and handled with care, but flydubai will follow a limited release and liability process for all sports equipment.

Sporting weapons

Sporting weapons and ammunition may be accepted as checked baggage, subject to pre-approval. Check the requirements for travelling with firearms and ammunition.
