Weather

Dubai enjoys sunshine year-round, with clear skies and warm temperatures. In winter (December to March), it’s milder at 23°C to 26°C, with occasional light rain. Summer (June to August) is hot, with average temperatures between 39°C and 41°C.

Getting around

Getting around Dubai is easy with a range of transport options. Use the bus network or Dubai Metro to travel across key areas of the city. Taxis are widely available and can be hailed, booked, or arranged through your hotel. You can also hire a car with flydubai for added flexibility.

Currency

The local currency is the UAE dirham (AED), also known as DH or Dhs. It is pegged to the US dollar at 3.675 AED to 1 USD. Banknotes are available in denominations from 5 to 1,000 AED.
