Only power banks up to 100 Wh are permitted for transportation. Regardless of the brand or terminology used - power bank, portable charger, battery pack, pocket charger, or power station - if the device’s primary function is to provide portable power, these rules apply.
Non-adherence to these requirements and restrictions may result in denial of carriage.
- Only one (1) power bank is permitted per passenger.
- The watt-hour (Wh) rating must be 100 Wh or less and clearly marked (labelled, embossed, or printed) on the device.
- Power banks must be switched off and protected from short circuits and unintentional activation. It is advisable to have the power bank kept in the original retail packaging or a protective pouch/case.
- Use of power banks on board is strictly prohibited, including charging devices or charging the power bank itself using aircraft power sockets.
- Power banks must not be placed in overhead stowage lockers and should be stored in hand baggage, either under the seat or in the seat pocket in front of you.
- Power banks are not permitted in checked baggage.

DronesDrones are only allowed in checked baggage. If your drone contains lithium batteries, they must either:
- be secured inside the drone to prevent accidental activation or short circuits, or
- be removed and carried in your hand baggage.
This regulation still applies even if you’re connecting to our flights from an airline that has accepted your drone as hand baggage.
