Who can travel?

  • Open to all visitors subject to meeting the visa and passport entry requirements.

PCR and vaccination documents needed for travelling

All passengers travelling to Uganda must have:

  • A negative COVID-19 PCR test result certificate from a test taken at most 72 hours prior to departure of the first flight of their itinerary; OR
  • A COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated. Vaccines accepted are: AstraZeneca (SK Bioscience), AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Convidecia (CanSinoBio), Covaxin, Covishield, Covovax, Janssen, Moderna (Spikevax), Nuvaxovid (Novavax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinopharm (BIBP), Sinovac or Sputnik V.
  • This does not apply to:
    • passengers younger than 18 years

PCR and vaccination documents needed for travelling

  • Passengers could be subject to a COVID-19 test upon arrival.

Quarantine requirements

  • Quarantine is not required.

Visa on arrival for Uganda

  • Uganda has suspended the visa-on-arrival facilities for passengers with a regular passports.
