Who can travel?
 
  • citizens of Georgia;
  • spouses and children under 18 years of citizens of Georgia;
  • Open to citizens and residents* of the United Arab Emirates;

  • passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated. The vaccination certificate must be in English;
  • passengers with a positive COVID-19 test issued at most 100 days before arrival and a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they received one dose at least 14 days before arrival. Accepted vaccines are: AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), AZD1222 (SK Bioscience Co Ltd.), Covishield, Janssen, Moderna, Pfizer-BioNTech, Sinopharm and Sinovac. The vaccination certificate must be in English.

Documents required for travelling
  • Passengers must submit a pre-registration form at https://tinyurl.com/krzcafmu.
  • This does not apply to:
    • citizens of Georgia residing in Georgia;
    • passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated. The vaccination certificate must be in English;
    • passengers with a positive COVID-19 test issued at most 100 days before arrival and a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they received one dose at least 14 days before arrival. Vaccines accepted are: AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), AZD1222 (SK Bioscience Co Ltd.), Covishield, Janssen, Moderna, Pfizer-BioNTech, Sinopharm and Sinovac. The vaccination certificate must be in English.
  • Passengers entering Georgia with a COVID-19 PCR test result will be required to undergo a further COVID-19 PCR test on the third day after entering Georgia at their own expense. Additionally, they must complete the online registration form and present the confirmation email at check in.
  • Passengers with a residence permit issued by Saudi Arabia must have an official English translation of the residence permit.
PCR requirements to travel to Georgia
  • Citizens of Iran are permitted to enter Georgia and they must hold a COVID-19 vaccination certificate or a negative PCR test result certificate. The certificates should have a readable QR code. Please note that handwritten certificates or certificates without QR code will not be accepted.
  • All citizens and residents of Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Canada, China (People's Rep.), Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Iraq, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Korea (Rep.), Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lebanon, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova (Rep.), Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, North Macedonia (Rep.), Norway, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, the United States of America, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and Uzbekistan when entering Georgia from the same country on a direct or transit flight via a third country must have a COVID-19 PCR test result taken no later than 72 hours prior to arrival in Georgia or hold a COVID-19 vaccination certificate (completion of two doses). Children under the age of 10 years are exempted from submitting a negative PCR test prior to arrival in Georgia. PCR certificate and COVID-19 vaccination certificate must be in Georgian, English, or Russian.
  • Citizens of all other countries including passengers with Georgian residency permit travelling from any other country must hold a COVID-19 vaccination certificate (completion of two doses), COVID-19 PCR certificates will not be accepted for entry to Georgia.
  • All passengers travelling from or who have visited India in the last 14 days, regardless of citizenship and if holding a vaccination certificate against COVID-19 (2 does), must have a printed negative COVID-19 PCR certificate from a test taken in the last 72 hours prior to their visit to Georgia and undergo mandatory 14-day quarantine at their own expense.
