Make your way to Dubai International Airport (DXB) to start your journey. To get there, it’ll take around 15 minutes by car from the city centre. Alternatively, book a taxi, take the bus or jump on the Dubai Metro to nearby Abu Hail station. If you’re taking your own car, there’s plenty of long-term and short-term parking available.
Checking in shouldn’t be complicated. We make sure it’s as simple as possible by giving you multiple options - online check-in allows you to get the job done between 48 hours and 90 minutes prior to take off. DXB’s self-service kiosks are also easy to use if you prefer to check in yourself, and our team are on-hand at our counters too. You can also download a mobile boarding pass to save carrying papers through the airport.
Next, take your bags to the drop-off point, breeze through security and relax in Terminal 2 departures. You’ll find plenty to keep you busy while you wait for your flight - whether that’s a refreshing beverage or a lite bite at one of the cafes or restaurants.
Once you arrive at Odesa International Airport (ODS), which is 7.5 km south-west of the city, getting to the heart of city is easy. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to reach downtown Odesa, which you can do by taxi, airport bus (No. 117 or 129 outside the terminal), or rent a vehicle at the airport - including flydubai car hire.
Odesa charms with its neoclassical architecture and tree-lined boulevards, offering a range of attractions for the intrepid traveller to explore. There’s a larger-than-life opera house - the second biggest in the world after Milan’s La Scala, the perfectly sculpted Potemkin Steps, so big they make tourists and locals look like multi coloured matchsticks, and golden beaches, perfect for a spot of relaxation.
