Passengers travelling to Jeddah, Madinah or Taif

Below are the travel restrictions for passengers traveling to/from Saudi Arabia during the period of Umrah.

Travel to/from Jeddah on extra flights (FZ 7000 to 7999)

You can travel on our extra flights (FZ 7000 to 7999) to Jeddah if:

  • You're holding a valid Umrah visa or
  • You're a GCC national (excluding Saudi nationals).

These flights arrive into and depart from the Hajj Terminal. Non-GCC nationals travelling on Umrah Visa need to report to the Hajj Terminal in Jeddah for check-in.

Terminal Info for GCC nationals will be included once we have an update from the authorities.

Travel to/from Jeddah on regular flights (three-digit flight)

  • All flights operating with a three-digit flight number will arrive at and depart from the North terminal at Jeddah Airport.
  • You can bring 5 litres of Zam-Zam free of charge on your return.

Travel to/from Madinah

  • If you're a Muslim, you can travel to/from Madinah during this period on an Umrah, business or visit visa.
  • If you're not a Muslim, you can travel to Madinah during this period on a business or visit visa.
  • You can bring 05 litres of Zam-Zam free of charge on your return.

Travel to/from Taif

  • Umrah visa holders cannot travel to/from Taif. They can only travel to/from Jeddah and Madinah.

It's your responsibility to obtain the correct visa to enable you to travel on these flights. If you arrive at the airport and don't have the correct documentation, you'll not be able to travel and there will be no refund offered.
