Yes. You can choose and pre-book your seat at an additional cost. The cost will depend on the seat you select and will be clearly shown on the seat map during your booking.

On the website:

1. Retrieve your booking via Manage booking.
2. Click on the 'Modify extras' button below the Trip details section.
3. On the Select extras page select the 'Seat' card.
4. View the seat map and add/select seats for each leg on the journey.
5. If seat selection isn't included in your fare, complete the payment for the selected seats.

On the mobile app:

1. Retrieve your booking via Manage booking.
2. Tap on the 'Passengers' tab.
3. Tap on the 'Add seat' card at the bottom of the page.
4. On the Select extras page select the 'Seat' card.
5. View the seat map and add/select seats for each leg on the journey.
6. If seat selection isn't included in your fare, complete the payment for the selected seats.

You can book your seat in Economy Class from as little as AED 16. Seat selection charges vary depending on your destination and flight duration.

Yes, you can buy a seat for an individual passenger(s) in your booking via Manage booking.

Yes. You can pay for your seat using your Emirates Skywards Miles while booking your flight, via the Manage booking section, or through our Customer Centre on +971 600 45 44 45.

Seat selection is only available for bookings made through flydubai on flights operated by us. If your flight is with one of our partner airlines, please contact them directly to choose your seat.

For safety reasons, you will not be eligible to select and sit in emergency row seat if:

• You are under the age of 16, even if accompanied by an adult.
• You are pregnant.
• You are travelling with an infant or someone who would require your assistance in an emergency.
• You cannot understand and follow instructions in English.
• You have a hearing or sight impairment that affects understanding written or spoken instructions.
• You are restricted in any way from moving quickly and/or providing assistance as required.
• You require a seat belt extension.

Yes, you can book an extra seat next to you for added comfort, or if you are travelling with a valuable, delicate, or bulky item, such as a musical instrument, diplomatic bag, gold, diamonds, or any other fragile belongings.

To add it to your booking please call our Customer Centre on (+971) 600 54 44 45 at least 4 hours before your flight's scheduled departure time.

Booking an extra seat is charged at the full adult fare.

If you’d like more space to relax during your journey, you can book an extra seat for comfort with flydubai. This service is ideal for passengers who prefer additional personal space during their flight in Economy Class.

How to book:

• When booking online, via our website or mobile app, add one adult for every extra seat required. A maximum of two additional seats can be booked per passenger.
• For the first adult passenger, enter your first and last name as they appear in your passport.
• For additional passenger(s):
  • In the first name field, enter EXST.
  • In the last name field, use the same last name as the passenger who requested the extra seat.

Important:

• You must notify flydubai of your extra seat booking at least 4 hours before scheduled departure and before completing online check-in by calling the Customer Centre on (+971) 600 54 44 45.
• The additional seat must be booked on a window seat adjacent to the passenger who booked the extra seat(s).
• The extra seat is eligible only for the checked baggage allowance as per the booked fare.
• For safety reasons, passengers with extra seat bookings cannot sit in emergency exit rows 15 and 16.
• If you’ve already booked your flight and want to add an extra seat later, please contact our Customer Centre on (+971) 600 54 44 45 for help.
• If your booking was made through a travel agent, you’ll need to contact them directly to book the extra seat.
• If your booking is with one of our partner airlines, it won't be eligible for extra seat purchase.
• Standard fare rules apply for any changes or cancellations.
• If your booking includes connecting flights, additional seats must be added for the entire journey.

If you are travelling with a valuable, delicate, or bulky item, such as a musical instrument, diplomatic bag, gold, diamonds, or other fragile belongings, you can book an extra seat specifically to carry it with you in the cabin. This service is available only in Economy Class.

• For the first adult passenger, enter your first and last name as they appear in your passport.
• For the second passenger:
  • In the first name field, enter CBBG.
  • In the last name field, use the same last name as the passenger who requested the extra seat.

Size and weight limits for cabin baggage on a seat:

• The maximum weight allowed is 75 kg.
• The maximum size must not exceed the seat’s headrest size: 55 cm (H) × 45 cm (W) × 40 cm (D).
• For musical instruments taller than 55 cm but less than 140 cm in height, they may still travel in the cabin if a seat is purchased. Maximum dimensions allowed are:
  • 140 cm (H from the floor) × 45 cm (W) × 40 cm (D).
  • The item must be able to be securely fastened using a seatbelt or an extension belt.
