Getting around Peshawar is relatively easy thanks to a mix of public transport options and affordable private travel. The city offers a network of minibuses, auto-rickshaws, and Qingqi (three-wheeled motorcycle taxis), which are commonly used by locals for short distances. Taxis and ride-hailing services are also widely available and convenient for visitors, especially for reaching specific destinations or travelling in comfort. While traffic can be busy, especially during peak hours, many of the city’s key attractions are within close proximity and can be explored on foot or via short rides.
