Ensure you have enough connection time in Dubai based on your itinerary. You need to be at the boarding gate at least 45 minutes before the departure of your connecting flight.
If you don't have a UAE visa, your connecting flight must be scheduled within 24 hours of arrival in Dubai. You will not be allowed to leave the airport otherwise.
If you have a connecting flight with one of our partner airlines within 24 hours, but it’s on a separate ticket, you can get your baggage tagged through for a handling fee during check-in at the airport.
If you’re connecting on a separate ticket, check with both airlines for baggage policies and minimum connection time.

Inform the check-in agent that you are connecting in Dubai.
Present your onward ticket and valid travel documents.
Your baggage will be tagged either:
- To Dubai (if no through-check agreement exists), or
- To your final destination (if your booking qualifies for baggage through-check).
If eligible, your onward boarding pass will be issued. Otherwise, you will collect it at the transfer desk in Dubai.

At Dubai International Airport (DXB), proceed to the dnata transfer desk:

Passengers are checked in only to Dubai
A valid UAE visa is required
On arrival in Dubai, you must:
- Clear immigration
- Collect your baggage
- Re-check in for your next flight
