Dubai stopover terms and conditions

1. Eligibility

1.1. The Dubai stopover offer ("Offer") is available only to eligible flydubai passengers transiting through Dubai (DXB).

1.2. Eligibility is determined automatically at the time of booking based on, but not limited to:

  • Flight routing
  • Transit duration in Dubai
  • Fare type
  • Return booking requirement
  • Hotel inventory availability
  • Operational and commercial criteria defined by flydubai
  • Time of booking 

1.3. The Offer is:

  • Valid only on return bookings
  • Valid only on selected flydubai-operated flights
  • Not available on one-way bookings, open-jaw itineraries, or multi-city bookings unless explicitly specified

1.4. Eligibility cannot be requested, added, or reinstated manually if not offered during the booking flow.

2. Offer Details

2.1 Eligible passengers may avail a complimentary hotel for 24 hours in Dubai during their stopover, subject to availability.

2.2 The complimentary hotel includes:

  • Room-only accommodation
  • Standard occupancy as defined by the hotel

2.3 The following are not included unless explicitly stated:

  • Meals and beverages
  • Airport transfers
  • Visas or visa assistance
  • Tourist taxes, or local fees (if applicable)
  • Any incidental charges incurred at the hotel

2.4 The Offer:

  • Has no cash value
  • Cannot be exchanged, refunded, or transferred
  • Cannot be combined with other stopover, hotel, or promotional offers unless explicitly stated

3. Booking and Redemption

3.1 The Dubai stopover hotel must be booked only through flydubai.com and flydubai travel agency portal as part of the flight booking journey.

3.2 The Offer:

  • Must be selected at the time of flight booking
  • Cannot be added after the booking is completed
  • Cannot be redeemed retrospectively, partially, or manually

3.3 Once a flight with the 'Complimentary Dubai hotel' tag is selected:

  • The hotel will be automatically added to the booking
  • Hotel details will be displayed on the review page prior to payment on flydubai.com. On TA portal, this will be informed before the payment page.

3.4 Upon successful payment:

  • A hotel voucher will be issued and sent via email
  • The voucher must be presented at the hotel during check-in

3.5 The hotel booking is:

  • Non-transferable
  • Valid only for the passenger(s) included in the flight booking
  • Valid only for the confirmed travel dates

4. Hotel Allocation and Stay Conditions

4.1 Hotel allocation is:

  • Auto-assigned by flydubai
  • Based on availability and operational criteria
  • Hotel selection or changes are not permitted

4.2 The complimentary stay is valid for:

  • A maximum of 24 hours
  • During the scheduled transit period in Dubai

4.3 Standard hotel policies apply, including:

  • Check-in time will be your arrival time in Dubai, with check-out 24 hours from check-in
  • Guest identification requirements
  • Security deposits (if required by the hotel)
  • Bedding confirmation is subject to availability 

4.4 Requests for early check-in, late check-out, room upgrades, or additional nights are subject to hotel availability and may incur charges payable directly to the hotel.

5. Changes, Cancellations and No-Shows

5.1 Flight Changes

    5.1.1 Any change to the flight booking may impact eligibility for the Dubai stopover offer.

    5.1.2 If a flight booking is modified the originally confirmed hotel booking will be cancelled.

    5.1.3 If the revised itinerary does not qualify:

  • The stopover offer will be void
  • No alternative compensation or refund will be provided

5.2 Flight Cancellations

    5.2.1 If the flight booking is cancelled:

  • The stopover hotel booking will be automatically cancelled
  • The Offer will be forfeited

6. Delays, Irregular Operations, and Disruptions

6.1 In case of flight delays, rescheduling, or operational disruptions:

  • The stopover hotel booking will be automatically cancelled

6.2 flydubai is not responsible for missed hotel stays resulting from delays, misconnects, or operational changes and does not guarantee alternative hotel accommodation.

7. Visas and Entry Requirements

7.1 Passengers are solely responsible for meeting UAE entry and visa requirements and ensuring valid travel documents.

7.2 The Offer does not include visa assistance.

7.3 flydubai shall not be liable if a passenger is denied entry into the UAE or the stopover cannot be utilised due to visa or immigration issues.

8. General Conditions

8.1 flydubai reserves the right to modify, suspend, or withdraw the Offer at any time and change eligibility criteria without prior notice.

8.2 The Offer is subject to availability, system limitations, and operational constraints.

8.3 All disputes shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
