Passengers with intellectual and non-visible disabilities

Every passenger with an intellectual, developmental or non-visible disability may require different levels of support during their travel journey.

We are ready to provide assistance to ensure that your travel experience with us is as smooth and comfortable as possible.

Please contact us at least 48 hours before your flight to request assistance that may be required so our team members can provide support throughout the journey with us.

Please note that passengers requiring assistance must be accompanied by a travel companion at all times to ensure that the travel journey is safe and comfortable.

Passengers will need to fly with a supporting travel companion where:

They are unable to establish communication with airport staff and cabin crew and cannot understand or respond to safety instructions.
They are unable to navigate safely around the airport facilities or the aircraft and are unable to evacuate themselves from the aircraft.
They require assistance with essential personal care, the administering of essential medication or require lifting.

When you arrive at the airport you can wear a Sunflower lanyard as a discreet way to identify that you might need additional support.
