Repatriation flights - Dubai to selected destinations

In light of flight restrictions put in place by countries across the flydubai network, we are working around-the-clock to help you travel back home safely.

We would like to announce that citizens* of the following countries who are resident in or visiting the UAE can now book special repatriation flights:

  • Bangladesh (Dhaka)
  • Bulgaria (Sofia)
  • Egypt (Cairo, Alexandria)
  • Finland (Helsinki)
  • Georgia (Tbilisi)
  • India (multiple airports)
  • Iran (Lar)
  • Kyrgyzstan (Bishkek)
  • Pakistan (multiple airports)
  • Romania (Bucharest)
  • Serbia (Belgrade)
  • Ukraine (Kyiv)

*Citizens of these countries, as well as family members of citizens of these countries, may be entitled to book a repatriation flight. Please check with the relevant embassy prior to making a booking. You can also check IATA travel news here:

UAE residents returning to Dubai
If you are a UAE resident returning to Dubai, please ensure you have Federal Authority For Identity And Citizenship (ICA) approval before booking your flight:

Please note that UAE nationals and UAE residents arriving in Dubai must download the COVID19 – DXB Smart App (from Apple App Store or from Google Play Store) and register with the Dubai Health Authority before leaving the airport. Visitors to the UAE are encouraged to download the ALHOSN UAE app on arrival.

Documents required for travelling to Dubai
If you are travelling to Dubai, please ensure you print and complete a health declaration form stating you are fit to travel and have health insurance valid in the UAE and also print and complete an undertaking form acknowledging that you will download the COVID-19 DXB app, self-quarantine as required and follow measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Both forms need to be handed over to the Dubai Health Authority on arrival back in Dubai.

COVID-19: Your journey and what you need to know
We’re taking all measures necessary to make sure you’re protected during your flight and that our crews are protected too, so here are some things you need to know when preparing for your flight. You also need to know what to expect when you’re at the airport and once you’re on board the aircraft, as well as what to expect when you arrive at your destination.

Terms and conditions

  • All flights are only for repatriation and will carry citizens of the above-mentioned countries who currently reside in or are visiting the UAE.
  • All flights offer one-way Economy Class fares originating in Dubai.
  • The offered fare is inclusive of 20 kg checked baggage allowance.
  • Cabin baggage will be limited to laptop, handbag, briefcase or baby items.
  • All flights will operate from Terminal 2 at Dubai International (DXB).
  • All flights are subject to government approvals and will operate only if approvals have been obtained.
  • No meals will be served during the flight, but a snack box will be provided.
  • No penalty will apply in case of flight modification or cancellation.
  • Any applicable refunds will be processed in the form of a flydubai voucher.
  • If you do not travel on the flight you have booked, please note that the ticket is non-refundable and non-changeable.
